The hosts were incredibly friendly and provided thoughtful local insights that made exploring York much easier.
Although the breakfast options were generally nice, some of the pantry items seemed to be limited in variety.

The double room featured a comfortable mattress and ample natural light, making it a decent retreat after a long day. The access to public transport right at the door is a real bonus for exploration.
The garden looked unloved and could use some attention, affecting the first impression. Access to the breakfast area was cramped during peak times, with limited options for group dining that might not appeal to larger parties. The steep, narrow staircase to the bedrooms can be a challenge, and some rooms felt smaller than expected, limiting comfort. Noise from the busy road was noticeable. while it quieted down at night, it may disrupt relaxation. Lastly, the difficulty in opening the front door could set a frustrating tone at the start and end of the stay.

I felt at home with thoughtful touches in my room. Private bathroom had free toiletries, and the tea/coffee maker was handy. Loved the flat-screen TV for some downtime. Breakfast had great variety, and parking was easy. The hosts were super welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. Just a short bus ride to the city too!

Everything was spot on, especially the delicious breakfast options and the lovely clean room that felt just right. I loved lounging in the garden area to unwind after a busy day. If I had to nitpick, a chair in the room would’ve been great, but honestly, that didn’t spoil my experience. 😊

The room was both clean and comfy, with a top-notch mattress that made for an awesome sleep. Extras like quality shower gels and snacks were a nice touch. It felt cozy, almost like home! Quick access to drinks and snacks whenever I wanted was a game-changer. Just a heads up, the communal kitchen was a bit small but still pleasant to use. loved my stay!
